Open-Minded.

Throughout my entire life, I have been taught to "play it safe", and I did...up until a few years ago. Over the past 3 years or so, I have broken many rules. I guess you could call it REBELLION. I'm not going to lie, I thoroughly enjoy it as I believe that I am a natural born rebel in the sense that I thirst for truth and knowledge. So..would it be bad if I encouraged you to do the same? Now, before you go on lecturing me and completely tune me out, realize that the title "rebel" is not as negative as the popular connotation our society has given it. In fact, in this day and time, a rebel should be more appreciated than stigmatized.

Let me explain...

I have come to realize that many of the ideas we have come to accept as a result of being taught so are blatantly wrong and over-popularized. What do I mean? I mean that, we should not accept everything that we are told at face value. We should always strive to educate ourselves and understand truth for ourselves. Some people may think that, that is a very scary and unnecessary idea because they fear seeing their comfort zone ideologies come tumbling down...but I beg to differ. The only way we can improve and progress as humanity is by challenging ideas that our hearts and our common sense wrestle with. When we know the TRUTH, we will be set FREE. However, it is true that some things many of us believe to be true are not true indeed. That in itself explains much of why far too many people are not mentally, emotionally nor physically FREE. I hope you agree with me when I say that,

I want to be free...

Let us not follow every trend and distraction. The Spirit of our Creator has so much more in store for all of us. He never intended for things to be this way. Let us open up our eyes and minds to what he has placed inside of us all. Let us open our hearts to the purity of love and what true love does.
